Hope City Church

Hope City Church is based in Houston, Texas with campuses in surrounding regions as well as Tanzania, Africa. With it's global outreach, it is a community of believers with the purpose of loving God, loving others, and changing the world. I began serving as a volunteer graphic designer in 2017 and have received the opportunity to contribute toward the vision through the creation of social media graphics, merch and visual art elements. In 2018, I was granted the role of a lead graphic designer, a volunteer role where I provided guidance and instruction to new and developing design team members and joined staff as a full-time graphic designer in May 2023.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

I received an opportunity to assist with developing a vision of creative elements for a 6-week sermon series entitled "Momentum". The moodboard I curated below was presented to the Creative Director and Lead Graphic Designer of the church and was then presented to the Pastoral team.

Collaborating with the Creative Director and Lead Graphic Designer, the moodboard was selected to develop the "Momentum" sermon series graphics, digital screen assets and branding kit.
